She was the captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams, who have won individual teams competitions.At the 2012 Olympics in London, she won gold medals for the team and floor competitions, and also the bronze medal on the balance beam, which made her the most decorated American gymnast at the Games. She was awarded an Olympic gold medal for team competition at the 2016 Olympics. Gabby Douglas was her teammate and won gold. Raisman was also awarded silver medals in the individual all-around and for floor exercise. Raisman received silver medals for the individual all-around and also for the floor exercise. She was also a two-time national champion on floor exercise (2012 in 2012 and 2015) and the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam and five times a medalist in the all-around section at the national championships (silver in 2016, and bronze in 2011 and 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2013.
