Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American singer and actor. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is of Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from a young stage. When she was in 1992, the actress appeared at her first audition, and was able to win the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also cast in advertisements for newspapers and television. Bell also began taking acting lessons in private at this time. Bell had a minor role that was not credited to her on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was part of the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. She won the starring role of Dorothy in her high school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater in New York City. Bell quit the school in 2001, when she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. This meant that there is only a credit sequence. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
