Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. She also received Jazz and classical training before when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. In addition, she spent a short time studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. Her focus shifted towards music after she graduated. The song My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album also included popular hits that went viral, such as body positive Queef or the winking city tour NYC Bitche$. The track that was published is directly linked to the album The Awkwafinas Guide to NYC, her 2015 travel guide. With musician and author on her resume she set her sights on an actor for a third venture. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she scored many notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
